Spring 2026 Shiitake Growing Lesson

Join us for our next Mushroom-growing adventure on May 9th at the Bloomsburg Fair Farmers Market! If you missed last years classes, NOW is your chance to reserve a spot to have some fun learning about how fungi works. In this basic course, we'll go over the life cycle of fungi, environmental factors, and what you can do to sustain a harvest cycle to keep growing! Participants will of-course take their log home to grow, as well as some extra material to expand. The farmers market opens at 9, Lesson starts at 10. It is encouraged to show up between the hours of 9 and 10 to ensure head count, as well as checking out the other vendors beforehand!!
